Dr. Prasad, the main Promoter & Managing Director of Omgene Life Sciences, has done B.Pharmacy (Hons) degree in Pharmacy (1994) from BITS-Pilani; M.Pharmacy (Jan-1996) from BITS-Pilani and completed PhD in Pharmaceutical Science in year 2005, from MS University, Vadodara, Gujarat. He is associated with Omgene since inception. He has work experience of more than eighteen years in different pharmaceutical companies including Alembic, Cipla, Aurobindo, and Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd., at various capacities in the field of Analytical and Chemical Research Development.
Dr. Prasad was an expert committee member for USP 2005-2010 cycle, Monograph development of Psychiatrics and Psychoactives. In 2009 he was selected as an expert committee member for Parenteral drug products in Indian Pharmacopeia. In 2010 he was selected as member for USP small molecules group 4 Expert Committee and was an expert committee member for SICART advisory board. He won “Young pharmaceutical analyst -2006” award, by Indian Drug Manufacturer Association (IDMA).
Dr. Prasad has good academic performance, sustained Interests in laboratory projects and has acquired good training in different pharmaceutical companies for varied techniques, communication skills and Leadership qualities. He has local and global vision to work in Bio Pharmaceutical area and this expertise in biopharmaceuticals made Dr. Prasad to turn into an entrepreneur.
